Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad for a Solar PV Module Testing Engineer. The engineer will plan and execute tests on solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, including performance, reliability, and safety assessments according to relevant standards and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing test setups, conducting functional and environmental tests, documenting test procedures and results, and analyzing data for deviations or nonconformities. The role involves coordinating with laboratory technicians, maintaining test equipment, ensuring adherence to quality and safety protocols, and supporting report generation and technical communication with clients. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods and assist in audits or certification processes as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Test Engineering and Testing, with experience in laboratory or product validation environments.
- Hands-on experience in Test Execution and working with well-defined Test Cases for product or module testing.
- Knowledge of Functional Testing principles, preferably applied to electrical or solar PV systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of solar PV modules, basic electrical measurements, and relevant international testing standards (e.g., IEC for PV modules).
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, analyze test data, and prepare clear, structured test reports.
- Attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality procedures, and capability to work in an on-site laboratory setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; prior experience in a testing laboratory or certification environment is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

✔ Analyze test data and verify compliance with standards
✔ Prepare test reports as per BIS UTRFs
