Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Solar Project Engineer to manage and execute solar power projects from planning to commissioning. The candidate will be responsible for technical design, project coordination, site supervision, and ensuring timely completion of solar installations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute solar EPC projects from start to completion.
- Prepare SLD (Single Line Diagram), Layout Plan, and BOM (Bill of Materials) for solar power plants.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility analysis for solar installations.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for project execution.
- Supervise installation of solar panels, inverters, structures, and electrical systems.
- Ensure projects are completed within timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly project reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of solar projects.
Required Skills- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and project execution.
- Experience in designing SLD, layout planning, and BOQ/BOM preparation.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and solar design tools.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and solar components.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and site teams.
Preferred Skills- Experience in solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
- Knowledge of MNRE guidelines and electrical safety standards.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
