We are seeking a highly experienced Solar Power Plant Project Manager to oversee the development and construction of a large-scale solar power plant.
Position Title: Solar Plant Project Manager
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Necessary Skills:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Willingness to travel and relocate to project sites as required.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Note: Candidate who are willing to relocate to Zambia(Africa)

Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in solar power plant engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully designing, executing, and managing large-scale solar power projects (10MW+).
- Experience with sourcing and procuring solar power equipment and materials.
- Willingness to travel and relocate to project sites as required.
Brief Job Description:
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of a large-scale solar power plant project.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from site assessment and feasibility studies to commissioning and handover.
- Develop detailed project plans, including technical specifications, timelines, and cost estimates. Source and procure necessary equipment and materials for the project, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate with local authorities, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
