Role Summary
We are looking for a Solar Project Engineer to manage and coordinate rooftop solar projects from site survey to commissioning. The role involves technical planning, execution, customer coordination, and ensuring the smooth completion of projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and collect technical details for project planning
- Prepare basic system layouts, BOQ, and project requirements
- Coordinate installation teams and monitor project progress
- Ensure quality and safety during execution
- Handle commissioning and system handover
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and EB/TNEB officials where required
- Track project timelines and resolve on-site issues
- Support troubleshooting and post-installation service when needed
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, EEE, ECE, or related field
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems and electrical design
- Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams
- Familiarity with rooftop solar installation practices
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable with field work and site visits
