About The Role

Position Overview: As a Solar Energy Consultant, you will serve as the primary advisor for customers interested in adopting solar energy solutions. You will conduct site visits, assess customer requirements, provide personalized recommendations, present proposals, and guide customers through the decision-making process. The role requires a strong blend of customer engagement, consultative selling, technical understanding, and relationship management. You will work closely with the Sustainability Advisor team, who will qualify and schedule appointments, enabling you to focus on consultation, site assessment, and project conversion. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Consultation & Advisory Meet prospective residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Understand customer energy consumption patterns and business requirements. Educate customers about solar energy systems, financial benefits, ROI, and long-term savings. Provide tailored solar recommendations based on customer needs. 2. Site Assessment & Opportunity Evaluation Conduct on-site inspections and preliminary feasibility assessments. Collect required information for system sizing and proposal preparation. Identify customer requirements, site constraints, and potential opportunities. Coordinate with technical teams whenever required. 3. Proposal Presentation & Deal Closure Present solar solutions and investment proposals to prospective customers. Explain project economics, payback period, and financing options. Address customer objections and concerns professionally. Negotiate commercial terms within approved guidelines. Convert qualified opportunities into confirmed projects. 4. Relationship Management Build long-term relationships with customers and referral partners. Maintain regular communication throughout the sales cycle. Ensure a positive customer experience from consultation to project handover. 5. CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities. Update lead progress and opportunity status within CRM systems. Submit periodic sales and pipeline reports. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 1.) Customer Experience Customer satisfaction Response time Relationship quality and referrals generated Eligibility Criteria: Education Graduate in any discipline (Engineering, Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or related fields preferred) Experience: 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, customer consulting, or client relationship management. Experience in solar energy, electrical products, industrial products, energy solutions, real estate, insurance, banking, or consultative sales will be preferred Skills Required: 1.
