Role Description:
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solar Design Engineer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for developing solar PV system designs, optimizing electrical layouts, and conducting technical evaluations of solar power systems.
- Daily responsibilities include designing solar solutions, performing site assessments, preparing engineering documentation, supporting project execution teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Compensation:
- Pay: ₹25,000 – ₹100,000+ per month (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop layouts for solar PV projects.
- Prepare technical drawings and system layouts using design software.
- Work on solar plant designs for projects ranging from kW to MW scale.
- Perform system simulations and generation analysis.
- Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient designs.
- Support project execution teams with design-related inputs and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Hands-on experience with at least two of the following tools – AutoCAD, PVsyst, or SketchUp; understanding of solar PV plant design and layout preparation; basic knowledge of solar project execution and design principles; and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in solar plant design (6 months to 10+ years).
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
