Role Objective
To ensure optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of solar assets by driving operational excellence, maintaining plant performance KPIs, managing O&M activities, and ensuring cost-efficient plant operations while coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Core Responsibilities
Asset Performance Management
- Monitor and maintain solar plant performance to meet defined operational KPIs
- Identify performance deviations and implement corrective action plans
- Ensure plant availability, efficiency, and long-term asset health
Operations & Maintenance Planning
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
Site Operations Management
- Manage and coordinate O&M teams across the plant
- Ensure proper execution of field operations and maintenance activities
Asset Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor plant performance using asset management platforms
- Record and report faults, deficiencies, and unusual occurrences
- Provide regular operational and performance reports to management
Vendor & Client Coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and third-party vendors
- Coordinate with service providers for maintenance and repairs
- Participate in review meetings and provide operational feedback
Inventory & Resource Management
- Plan and manage site-level spares and consumables inventory
- Ensure availability of critical components to avoid operational disruptions
Warranty & Compliance Management
- Monitor equipment warranty status and initiate claims where required
- Coordinate insurance claims and ensure proper documentation
Experience & Capability Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the solar industry
- Proven experience managing solar plants of 100+ MWp capacity
- Strong understanding of solar plant O&M and asset performance management
- Experience managing large on-ground technical teams
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage vendor and client relationships effectively
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of solar plant performance monitoring systems
- Strong leadership skills to manage teams of 60–70 personnel
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and Power BI
Education
B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related field
