The Field Sales and Training: Events and Sales Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning and execution of retail events, sales initiatives, and immersive experiences. They will assist with event logistics, vendor coordination, and sales team support while learning the behind-the-scenes operations of a dynamic beauty brand. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual looking to develop skills in event planning, sales strategy, and brand engagement. This internship is based in our New York City Headquarters. The program dates are June 4th to August 20th (12 weeks). The pay range for this position is $16.50/hour.

The Field Sales and Training: Events and Sales Intern will work on the following:

• Assist in the planning and execution of retail events, ensuring seamless coordination between stores, vendors, and the sales team.
• Support event logistics, including shipping materials, tracking inventory, and preparing event kits.
• Communicate with retail partners to confirm event details, schedules, and requirements.
• Help source and coordinate vendors for event needs, such as catering, signage, and promotional materials.
• Monitor and recap event performance by gathering feedback, photos, and sales data.
• Provide on-site event support as needed, ensuring smooth operations and brand alignment.
• Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including updating event calendars and compiling reports.
• Research industry trends and competitor activations to help enhance future event strategies.

Sol de Janeiro's Internship Program requirements:

• You are a student at an accredited University or College
• You are local to the NYC area for a 12-week internship program
• You have interest in the business areas listed above with some relevant coursework, student clubs, and/or internship experience
• Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  
  

Salary Range

$16.50—$16.50 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
