Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Software Testing Mentor to support our training operations by delivering structured, industry-aligned mentoring to students. The selected candidate will be responsible for imparting real-time testing knowledge, ensuring students acquire practical expertise and become job-ready with strong domain confidence.
This role is ideal for currently employed QA professionals who possess strong technical expertise combined with excellent mentoring and instructional capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver comprehensive training on Software Testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
· Provide structured live project exposure to simulate real-time industry environments.
· Guide students through the end-to-end testing life cycle, including planning, execution, and reporting.
· Conduct professional training sessions, workshops, and assessments.
· Share real-world use cases, testing strategies, and best practices.
· Evaluate student performance and provide detailed feedback for continuous improvement.
· Ensure high levels of student satisfaction and learning outcomes.
· Prepare students for interviews and real-time project challenges.
· Maintain compliance with defined curriculum standards and quality benchmarks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in Software Testing.
· Strong technical proficiency in:
· Manual Testing & Functional Testing
· Automation Testing (Selenium or equivalent tools)
· Test Case Design & Execution
· Defect Management Tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
· SDLC & STLC Processes
· Agile and Scrum Frameworks
· Prior experience in mentoring, training, or academic instruction.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to deliver structured and professional training to diverse student groups.
Desired Profile
· Currently employed as a QA Engineer / Software Tester / Test Lead.
· Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide students effectively.
· Strong leadership and organisational skills.
