Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Testing Engineer at Learntern Career Solutions, located in Bengaluru. The Software Testing Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and resolving software defects, and collaborating with software development teams to ensure product quality. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts, performing functional and regression testing, documenting test cases, and ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards and processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Computer Science principles and Software Development practices
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development and experience with related tools and frameworks
- Hands-on expertise in Programming, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for identifying software issues
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments
- Basic familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
