Job Title: Software Tester Intern
Location: Chennai
Duration: 3 -6 months

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Tester Intern to join our QA team. As an intern, you will assist in testing web and/or mobile applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring a high-quality user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts
Perform manual testing of applications to identify bugs and usability issues
Report and track defects using bug tracking tools
Collaborate with developers to understand features and resolve issues
Conduct regression testing after bug fixes or feature updates
Document test results and provide feedback to the development team
Learn and apply basic QA methodologies and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC)
Familiarity with manual testing concepts
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Good written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Good to Have (Optional)
Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium)
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript)
Understanding of APIs and tools like Postman
Exposure to version control systems like Git
