Job Title: Software Testing EngineerJob Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing and experience in advanced domains such as image processing, API validation, and AI/LLM-based systems. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of applications involving brain image analysis, annotation tools, and intelligent systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform end-to-end manual testing of applications with high priority on accuracy and quality
- Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on requirements
- Validate brain image scanning workflows, including:
- Annotation tools
- Cell identification tools
- Image processing outputs
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar platforms
- Perform database testing using SQL queries to validate backend data
- Validate file system operations, including file comparison, data integrity, and structure verification
- Test and validate LLM-based applications, including:
- Response accuracy
- Prompt validation
- Output consistency
- Perform testing using AI tools to improve productivity and test coverage
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Prepare test reports, execution summaries, and defect analysis
Required Skills:- Strong experience in Manual Testing (primary focus)
- Good understanding of STLC and SDLC
- Experience in API Testing
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation
- Experience in file system and data validation testing
- Familiarity with image processing or domain-based testing
- Understanding of LLM testing concepts (prompt testing, response validation)
- Experience using AI tools for testing support and productivity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:- Basic knowledge of automation testing (Selenium / Java)
- Experience with annotation tools or scientific/medical data systems
- Exposure to AI/ML-based applications
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, etc.)
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
- Relevant experience in software testing (based on requirement)
Soft Skills:- Attention to detail (critical for image and data validation)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Quick learner, especially for new AI-based tools
