Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for testing web applications, identifying bugs, validating functionalities, and ensuring the quality and performance of software products before deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Identify, report, and track bugs/issues using tracking tools.
- Validate UI/UX, functionality, responsiveness, and performance of applications.
- Work closely with developers and designers to resolve issues.
- Conduct regression, functional, integration, and smoke testing.
- Ensure applications meet business and user requirements.
- Maintain testing documentation and reports.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Testing/QA.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Experience in manual testing.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Basic understanding of APIs and database testing is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience testing SaaS/web applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools is an added advantage.
