About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to join our Technical Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software products by identifying bugs, validating requirements, and collaborating closely with developers to deliver a seamless user experience.
The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Review software requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct retesting.
- Ensure software applications meet quality standards before deployment.
Documentation
- Prepare detailed test reports and defect reports.
- Maintain testing documentation and testing logs.
- Document testing procedures and best practices.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Developers, and Project Managers.
- Participate in requirement discussions and sprint planning meetings.
- Provide feedback on usability, performance, and system improvements.
Continous improvement
- Suggest process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Assist in developing testing standards and quality benchmarks.
- Stay updated with latest testing methodologies and tools.
Required Qualification
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
For Fresher
Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
Internship or project experience preferred.
Technical Skills Required
Must Have
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Knowledge of Functional and Regression Testing.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing.
- Understanding of Web and Mobile Application Testing.
- Ability to write and execute Test Cases.
Good To Have
- Experience with tools such as:
- Jira
- Postman
- TestRail
- Selenium
- BrowserStack
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic Automation Testing knowledge.
