Software Test Engineer – Java, Selenium & API Automation
Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala
Work Mode: Hybrid
Experience: 9+ Years Overall (Minimum 5+ Years Relevant Experience in Java & Selenium)
CTC: Up to ₹24 LPA

Role Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Software Test Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing using Java, Selenium, and API Automation. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of designing and maintaining automation frameworks, integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines, and delivering high-quality software in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Perform API automation testing using REST Assured and Postman.
- Develop and execute BDD test scenarios using Cucumber.
- Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Enhance automation frameworks and improve overall test coverage.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation best practices.
- Work effectively in Agile and DevOps environments.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Overall 9+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA Automation with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver automation.
- Strong experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Hands-on experience in API automation testing using REST Assured, REST APIs, and Postman.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into build and deployment processes.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized test environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to mentor QA teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
