🚀 Hiring: Embedded Software Test Engineer | Automotive Domain
We are looking for Embedded Software Test Engineers (3–5 Years) with strong experience in Automotive Embedded Systems and Communication Protocol Testing. This is a great opportunity for professionals passionate about automotive technology and system-level testing.
📍 Work Location: Bangalore
🕒 Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days
💼 Experience: 3 – 5 Years
🎓 Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
🔧 Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge in Automotive domains such as Audio, Tuner, Bluetooth, WiFi, Projection, Camera, Ethernet AVB, and System
- Experience in CAN Protocol Testing (CAN 2.0A/B, CAN FD)
- Hands-on experience with UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) – ISO 14229
- Experience with Automotive Communication Tools like Vector CANoe / CANape
- Knowledge of J1939 and Automotive Ethernet
- Experience in Python-based automation frameworks (Robot / PyChamp) – preferred
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in embedded environments
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test strategies
- Perform manual and automation testing for automotive embedded systems
- Validate communication protocols such as CAN, UDS, J1939, and Automotive Ethernet
- Configure and maintain test benches with ECUs, communication interfaces, and diagnostic tools
- Perform diagnostic testing including fault code management, routine control, and ECU programming
- Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with development teams
- Develop automation scripts using Python, CAPL, or similar tools
- Perform system testing and acceptance testing
- Maintain test documentation and reports
⭐ Good to Have
- Experience in Automotive Ethernet testing
- Knowledge of DoIP, SOME/IP, and TCP/IP stack
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
