Job Title: Software Test Engineer (QA)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer (QA) with 2–3 years of experience in IT testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Test Planning & Execution
- Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases and scenarios
- Execute manual and/or automated test cases
- Ensure complete test coverage before release
🔹 Bug Reporting & Tracking
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira
- Assign appropriate severity and priority levels
- Collaborate with developers to ensure timely bug resolution
🔹 Quality Assurance & Regression Testing
- Perform regression testing for each release cycle
- Validate bug fixes and ensure system stability
- Maintain high-quality standards across releases
🔹 Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams
- Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Provide clear and structured test reports
🔹 Documentation
- Maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports
- Update QA documentation based on product changes
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing / QA
- Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like Jira
- Experience in manual testing (automation is a plus)
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or web/mobile testing
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
