Job Summary
We are hiring a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with experience in Manual and API Testing, preferably from the Fintech or Payments domain. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and a good understanding of payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business and functional requirements for payment systems (UPI, POS, card processing)
- Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts
- Perform manual testing: functional, regression, and integration testing
- Conduct API testing using Postman
- Validate backend data using SQL/PostgreSQL
- Perform end-to-end testing of transaction flows
- Identify, report, and track bugs with proper documentation
- Collaborate with developers and product teams for issue resolution
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing
- Knowledge of API Testing (Postman)
- Basic understanding of SQL / PostgreSQL
- Experience in Regression Integration Testing
- Fintech / Payment domain knowledge preferred
- Good communication and documentation skills
Good To Have
- Automation Testing (Selenium / Appium)
- Performance or Security Testing knowledge
- Experience testing Android applications
Qualification
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering / MCA / BCA or related field
