Protoform Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an immediate hire for the role of QA/Test Engineer with basic development support responsibilities.
We are looking for a fresher or candidate with up to 1 year of experience who can take ownership of software testing, bug reporting, release validation, and basic debugging support for the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual, functional, regression, and release testing
- Write and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Report bugs clearly with steps to reproduce, screenshots, expected results, and actual results
- Test APIs using tools like Postman
- Understand frontend/backend workflows and validate product flows
- Coordinate with developers to verify fixes and retest issues
- Support basic debugging and small development fixes where required
- Participate in team discussions, sprint updates, and product quality reviews
Requirements:
- Fresher to 1 year of experience in QA/testing or software development
- Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, frontend/backend flow, and databases
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, GitHub/GitLab, Jira/Trello/ClickUp is a plus
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, React, Node.js, or similar technologies is an advantage
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-moving startup environment
Location: Hybrid depending on project requirement
