Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Support Engineer to join our Support team. This role offers hands-on exposure to software support operations, customer interaction, and real-time issue resolution. The ideal candidate will assist in troubleshooting technical issues, documenting solutions, and ensuring smooth product operations. This opportunity is best suited for students or recent graduates looking to build a strong foundation in technical support within a professional IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Document support requests, solutions, and known issues in the ticketing system.
- Work closely with senior support engineers to identify root causes of incidents.
- Provide timely updates to users regarding reported issues.
- Learn and follow established support processes and SLAs.
- Prepare basic reports on recurring issues and recommend improvements.
- Perform initial analysis of application logs and system behavior.
- Assist in maintaining documentation related to common issues and troubleshooting steps.
Skills
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, B.Com, or related field.
- Basic understanding of software applications and systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of ticketing tools and support platforms.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, web browsers, and MS Office tools.
