Role Description
We are looking for a highly driven Sales Manager who can both lead and execute on-ground sales for our School ERP Software solution.
This is not just a managerial role — we need someone who is hands-on, proactive, and ready to build relationships directly with schools.
Location and Travel:
- Location: Ghaziabad or Meerut
- This role requires regular travel for field sales, school visits, and client meetings
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and connect with schools (principals, trustees, administrators)
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, and cold outreach
- Schedule and conduct in-person meetings & product demonstrations
- Clearly explain the importance, benefits, and ROI of our School ERP software
- Convert prospects into customers and close sales contracts
- Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
- Coordinate onboarding and implementation for new clients
- Follow up monthly regarding invoices, renewals, and client satisfaction
- Maintain sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
What we are looking for:
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales (EdTech/SaaS preferred)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable with field sales and meeting decision-makers
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and relationship-focused
- Ability to both strategize and execute independently
- Experience selling software solutions is a plus
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software Sales and Lead Generation techniques
- Strong Communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Experience in Account Management and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Sales expertise, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding targets
- Ability to effectively present technical solutions to potential customers
- Relevant experience in the software or technology industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
