Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Software Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving software sales, generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting customers with basic technical coordination when required.
The candidate should possess strong communication skills, a sales-driven mindset, and the ability to understand software products, ERP solutions, and client business requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities for software products and IT services.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable software or ERP solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, software demonstrations, and client meetings.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to successful deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with technical and implementation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Handle basic technical support coordination and assist clients with software-related queries.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting support and coordinate with internal technical teams when required.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain CRM records, sales reports, follow-ups, and pipeline updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- MBA in Marketing, Sales, or related specialization is an added advantage
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in Software Sales, IT Sales, or SaaS Sales
- Strong understanding of software products, ERP solutions, and IT services
- Basic technical knowledge with the ability to coordinate software support activities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong customer handling and relationship management abilities
- Ability to close deals and consistently achieve sales targets
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ERP sales such as Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of B2B sales processes and enterprise software solutions
- Experience coordinating with technical, development, or support teams
- Understanding of software implementation and deployment processes
- Exposure to enterprise consulting or SaaS-based solutions
