Role Description
This is a full time role
Your primary focus will be conducting deep-dive manual testing of new features and enhancements, ensuring functionality, usability, and edge cases are thoroughly validated before release.
You will take ownership of maintaining and refining the Jira backlog—tracking and prioritizing issues, and ensuring strong visibility across the team.
You will design, build, and maintain automated tests to improve coverage, efficiency, and support faster release cycles. Working closely with the rest of the QA team, developers and product partners, you will provide high-impact feedback, validate data accuracy and recommendations, and help shape quality standards across the product.
We’re looking for someone who not only strengthens our QA processes through rigorous testing and smart automation, but also brings a detail-oriented and customer-focused mindset — someone who isn’t afraid to dive deep into backend systems to trace issues and always tests from the customer’s perspective to ensure a flawless experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on testing across backend, frontend, and API layers.
- Design and maintain automated test cases and scenarios.
- Investigate issues deeply — tracing defects through logs, and backend systems to identify root causes.
- Champion a customer-oriented testing mindset — validating features from the end-user’s perspective.
- Continuously evaluate and improve test coverage, processes, and tooling.
- Collaborate with the rest of the QA team to improve processes, explore new tooling, and drive initiatives that make the QA organization a champion of quality and innovation.
Qualifications:
- +1 year of experience in a full stack development role or QA role with solid understanding of testing across web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs — experienced in using Postman or similar frameworks for API validation.
- Knowledge of AWS or other major cloud platforms, including basic familiarity with IAM, EC2, S3, and VPC concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash,...) for writing automated tests, building tools, and debugging issues.
- Customer-oriented mindset — always testing from the user’s perspective to ensure intuitive, reliable experiences.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure or cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability tools (Grafana, Datadog,..) is a big plus.
- Prior Experience working in a product led startup is a big plus.
