About the Role
We are looking for a curious and detail-oriented QA Intern who enjoys finding hidden bugs and ensuring software works flawlessly. In this role, you will contribute directly to improving product quality and user experience by identifying issues before they reach customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory and functional testing on web/mobile applications
- Identify bugs and log clear, detailed reports with reproducible steps
- Write and maintain test cases and test scenarios for application features
- Validate application data using basic SQL queries
- Assist in learning and implementing automation testing using tools like Selenium
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
What You Will Learn
- Hands-on experience with real-world QA processes and workflows
- Exposure to Agile methodology (sprints, stand-ups, collaboration)
- Basics of test automation frameworks
- Debugging using browser DevTools and network logs
- Understanding of API testing and backend validation
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of STLC, test cases, and regression testing
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity and ability to identify edge cases and break systems
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of Java or Python
- Familiarity with Postman (API testing)
- Exposure to Jira or similar bug tracking tools
- Basic understanding of SQL queries
Eligibility
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Freshers only)
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Skills (Preferred Candidates)
- Hands-on experience with Browser DevTools (Inspect, Console, Network tab)
- Understanding of APIs and HTTP status codes (200, 400, 500, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile practices
- Strong logical and problem-solving abilities
