This requirement is for a US based product company, who are in the process of establishing their Offshore Development Centre in Hyderabad, India. You will be part of the initial team and will be playing a crucial role in building a world class enterprise product.
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to support testing efforts for a system focused on integrations and backend workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and integration testing across system components.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Validate data flows and system behavior across integrated components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality across releases.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation exposure).
- Strong experience in functional and integration testing.
- Experience testing APIs (any protocol; REST not mandatory).
- Solid understanding of test design, regression testing, and defect lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with test automation (e.g., Selenium, Java or similar).
Good To Have
- Experience with API automation tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test execution workflows.
- Exposure to integration-heavy or configuration-driven systems.
- Those who worked in a startup environment will be advantageous.
