About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer to join our team. This is not just a standard testing role, you will be responsible for the entire quality lifecycle from checking new features to ensuring the system is stable during deployments. You will work as a bridge between the Development , Production and other FTE/Client teams to make sure our releases are "Production-Ready."
Key Responsibilities
· End-to-End Functional Testing: Understanding requirements clearly and performing detailed manual testing on new features to ensure zero-defect delivery.
· Regression Ownership: Maintaining the regression test suite and performing thorough checks whenever new code is added to ensure existing features are not impacted.
· Deployment Sanity: Conducting quick "Smoke and Sanity" checks after every build or deployment to provide immediate "Go/No-Go" feedback to the leads.
· Bug Management: Reporting clear and detailed bugs in Jira/Azure DevOps/Other Test Management.
· Exploratory Testing: Using your "out-of-the-box" thinking to find edge-case scenarios and hidden bugs that aren't covered in the standard test cases.
· Daily Reporting: Providing clear daily status updates on test progress, environment stability, and any risks to the release timeline.
Required Skill Set
· Core Testing: Expert knowledge of Manual Testing, STLC, Functional, and Integration testing.
· Critical Thinking: Ability to perform "Negative Testing" and identify data-related issues.
· Tools Knowledge: * Management: Strong hands-on experience in Jira or equivalent Project Management Tools.
· Database: Ability to write simple SQL queries for data verification.
· Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced Scrum environment and attending daily Stand-up meetings.
· Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to explain issues to developers and management.
Experience:
· 4+ years of solid experience in software application testing.
· Look for candidates who understand "Impact Analysis" (how one change affects other features).

o Candidates must be from an Engineering background (BTech/BE – any stream).
o BCA / BSc / BCom profiles to be avoided.
4. Location & Hiring Preference
o Hyderabad-based candidates only preferred.
o Relocation from other cities is not encouraged.
