Job Description
Role Purpose
The Software Integrations Developer will be the architect of connectivity within our digital ecosystem. You will design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions that bridge the gap between disparate systems, ensuring seamless data flow and high-performance processing. By leveraging the Microsoft Azure stack, you will transform complex business requirements into scalable, automated integration workflows that drive organizational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
- Integration Development: Design and deploy end-to-end integration workflows using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and C# to connect cloud and on-premises applications.
- Data Orchestration: Build and monitor complex ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Data Factory, ensuring data integrity and optimized performance for warehousing.
- API Management: Develop and consume REST & SOAP APIs, utilizing Fetch XML and JSON for sophisticated data retrieval and processing.
- Database Engineering: Architect T-SQL objects (stored procedures, views, schemas) in Azure SQL, implementing secure credential management and incremental load strategies.
- Security & Compliance: Manage Azure Key Vault and storage security configurations to ensure all integration points meet enterprise-grade security standards.
- DevOps & Governance: Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage code versions via Azure DevOps or TFS, ensuring high-quality documentation and modularized code.
What Success Looks Like
Reliable and scalable Azure integration architectures with 99.9% uptime , optimized data throughput, and minimal technical debt; clear technical and API documentation; strict adherence to security governance; and seamless data flow that earns positive feedback from business stakeholders.
Integration workflows consistently achieve ≥98–99% successful automated runs, with <2% runs requiring manual intervention, minimal failed executions, and clearly defined monitoring and alerting mechanisms that ensure rapid issue resolution and minimal business disruption.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Capability
- Proven Track Record: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server (2016+) or Azure SQL environments.
- Azure Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Functions along with Blobs and Key Vault.
- Lifecycle Management: Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework and a solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Technical Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
Technical Strength
- Development: Strong proficiency in C# and Visual Studio for custom integration logic.
- Data Design: Deep knowledge of ETL design patterns, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) and parameterization.
- Protocols: Expert-level familiarity with JSON, Fetch XML, and API testing tools like Postman or SOAPUI.
- Bonus Strengths: Experience with Power Platform (Apps/Automate), Azure Databricks, or Service Bus will be considered a significant advantage.
Mindset & Behaviours
- Design-first and quality-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and evolving requirements.
- Strong communicator able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, collaborative, and continuous improvement oriented.
- Demonstrates strong sense of urgency and ownership.
Why Join
