In this role, you will lead discussions with both suppliers and in-house designers to ensure that hardware aligns with vehicle architecture requirements. You will also verify that software logic remains consistent with the designs established by the principal system architect. Your core responsibilities also include developing comprehensive test plans and formalizing the DVP for key components and the overall product.
Beyond these primary duties, you will contribute to various other activities essential to the successful development of the vehicle across multiple projects.

Software Requirement: Defining functional requirements to define how different hardware modules defined in vehicle architecture should interact.
Communication & Security Governance: Create "Golden" communication protocols to ensure sufficient CAN, LIN, ETHERNET bandwidth & CPU loads for diagnostic telemetry.
Diagnostic Validation: Ensuring the vehicle can correctly identify and report faults (OBD-II standards) to a service tool.
Flash & Update Management: Overseeing the process of "flashing" (installing) software onto physical vehicle prototypes during the Alpha & Beta Builds.
SIL: Testing algorithms in a completely virtual environment to catch logic errors before they touch hardware & Serving as the primary authority for Supplier Validation Readiness by auditing HIL and SIL systems at vendor locations.
OTA Testing: Validating that software updates can be pushed remotely without "bricking" the vehicle or compromising safety.
Regression Testing: Every time a bug is fixed, re-testing the entire system to ensure the fix didn't break something else.
Cybersecurity Validation: Testing the vehicle’s defenses against hacking, specifically at the gateway where the car connects to the cloud.
