We are looking for a strong techno-managerial leader for our automotive BU with a team of 40+ engineers
Your role would include:
· Working on projects within the areas of Automotive Infotainment device and Telematic ECU’s
· Coordination of assigned projects within the group, taking care of all the resources to ensure all projects meet defined scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
· Acting as escalation point for cross-team and customer-facing topics
· Building strong collaboration and ensuring mutual understanding with all the project stakeholders and team members, ensuring smooth execution and effective communication
· Leading and mentoring technical team leads, fostering accountability, technical excellence and professional growth (review performance and KPIs, define training plan, govern the onboarding plan and ramp‑up, define salaries, monitor engagement and satisfaction, address underperformance, take active role in hiring processes)
· Promoting knowledge sharing, innovation and continuous improvement along with the best practices in design, development, code review, testing, and documentation within the group
· Actively participating in specification, design, development, testing, and integration in at least one of the projects
· Participation in risk and change management activities, such as identifying technical risks, providing impact analysis, mitigation planning and coordinating cross-team execution of change preparation activities and corrective actions
· Supporting in-car software and system integration, in-house and with our customers
· Supporting pre-sales through requirements elicitation, technical SOW creation, effort estimation, and timeline input
Requirements:
· Academic education in computer technology (BTech or MTech)
· Must to have - Strong hands-on experience in C++ based development with at least 18 years of experience in relevant domain.
· Senior experience in embedded Linux (kernel and/or user-space)
· Experience in work with communication interfaces
· Excellent knowledge of automotive SOC Systems Architectures
· Knowledge of CMake, GTest, Gmock, shell script, python
· Knowledge of software planning methods and the ability to use them effectively
· Understanding of ASPICE software development processes
· Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities of multiple teams
· Proven ability to continuously track both top-level view and day-to-day details
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
· Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
· Very good knowledge of English language
