Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineering Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Software Engineering Manager will lead and mentor software engineering teams, providing technical guidance and enabling high-quality delivery across AI-driven and conventional software projects. Responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end development activities, driving software design and architecture decisions, and ensuring robust implementation of distributed systems.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Software Development and Software Design, with experience in modern architectures and scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities, including mentoring engineers, building high-performing teams, and guiding technical decisions.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, estimation, risk management, and delivery within agile or similar methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Distributed Systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Relevant experience in AI/ML or data-intensive applications is a plus.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and software quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience managing teams in a product or services company environment; prior exposure to global or offshore teams is beneficial.
