Roles and Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce coding standards, clean architecture principles, SOLID design practices, and modular development approaches.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide impact analysis for new initiatives, guiding long-term technical direction.
- Ensure maintainability and performance of existing legacy systems while planning structured technical debt reduction.
- Drive progressive modernization initiatives across legacy enterprise systems and modern cloud-native platforms.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through structured code reviews and engineering Communities of Practice (Dev Tribes).
- Identify and evaluate pragmatic opportunities to leverage AI/ML and Generative AI within existing enterprise applications to improve automation, efficiency, and user experience.
- Architect and guide implementation of LLM-based solutions, including RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Ensure AI integrations are secure, scalable, observable, and compliant with healthcare data standards.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate evolving requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Participate in agile development processes and promote modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, and DevSecOps.
- Represent engineering perspectives in cross-functional technical discussions and influence technical decisions across global teams.
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in .NET development for enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in enterprise solutions
- Experience with LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks (preferred)
- Ability to define and enforce coding standards, clean architecture principles, SOLID design, and modular development
- Experience leading architecture reviews, impact analysis, and technical modernization initiatives
- Proficiency in designing scalable, maintainable, and performant systems, including legacy modernization
- Experience mentoring and guiding engineers through code reviews and Communities of Practice
- Strong understanding of secure, scalable, and compliant AI integrations
- Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, CI/CD, TDD, and DevSecOps best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for collaboration with product and business stakeholders
