THE ROLE
You'll own the core intelligence layer of our product ā the systems that turn raw video URLs into streaming, cited, memory-aware conversations that creators actually use every day.
This is NOT a "maintain the dashboard" role. You'll architect, build, and optimize end-to-end RAG pipelines that need to be fast, cheap, and brutally accurate at scale.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD
ā¢ Full-stack RAG applications that ingest YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Shorts ā transcripts, metadata, engagement rates, everything
ā¢ Chunking + embedding strategies + vector DB retrieval (LangChain/LangGraph) that balance quality and cost for thousands of queries per day
ā¢ Side-by-side video comparison interfaces with a real-time streaming chat panel that cites sources and remembers context across turns
ā¢ The reasoning layer that answers: "Why did Video A outperform B?" "How do I improve my hook?" "What worked in their first 5 seconds?"
ā¢ Cost-optimized inference pipelines that can handle 1,000+ creators daily without the bill exploding

We don't hire just Claude prompters, although we do give you a max plan. We want to hire engineers who think and build scalable products.
ā¢ You've shipped full-stack AI apps in production (not just notebooks or demos)
ā¢ You can defend trade-offs: Why this vector DB? Why this chunk size? What breaks at 10,000 users? What's the cheapest way to keep quality elite?
ā¢ You're comfortable with React/Next.js + FastAPI/Node + LangChain/LangGraph + embeddings + vector stores
ā¢ You write clean code, meaningful commit messages, and READMEs that don't read like they were generated in one shot

OUR TECHNICAL SCREENING (It's a Feature)
We don't do LeetCode. We do real work that mirrors exactly what you'll do on the job.
THE CHALLENGE: Build a full-stack RAG chatbot that takes two social video URLs, pulls transcripts + metadata, computes engagement rates, stores everything in a vector DB, and lets creators chat about comparisons, hooks, improvements, with streaming responses, source citations, and conversation memory.
You'll use the stack we recommend (or a better one with clear reasoning). Free tiers are fine. We care about YOUR REASONING on cost, quality, and scalability for 1,000 creators a day.
DELIVERABLE: A clean GitHub repo (with real commit history) + a Loom demo showing it working end-to-end with two real videos. Then a live demo on the call with the CEO or Head of Engineering.
