Job Description – Software Test Engineer - Manual (4–5 Years Experience)
We are looking for a skilled Manual Test Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in software testing to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, test execution, defect tracking, and validation activities. Experience in the Laboratory Diagnostics or Healthcare domain is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Execute test cases and document test results with appropriate objective evidence.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with development, business, and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
- Participate in requirement reviews, risk assessments, and verification activities.
- Support installation, upgrade, and Verification testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards applicable to healthcare products.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Good To Have Skills
- Knowledge of ADS.
- Prior experience in the Laboratory Diagnostics or Healthcare domain.
- Experience working in regulated environments and validation processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
