About The Role
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead a critical service group within our Decision Management Platform, focusing on fraud detection. This leadership role is pivotal in driving engineering excellence, scaling delivery capabilities, and cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning engineering strategies with overarching business objectives, mentoring high-performing teams, and ensuring the delivery of complex, high-volume, and low-latency software solutions.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering and architecture. Proven leadership experience managing complex, mission-critical platforms is essential. Candidates should have a strong track record of delivering distributed and scalable systems, particularly in fintech, digital payments, authentication, or identity systems.
Deep expertise in security protocols, secure SDLC, PCI compliance, and operational excellence is required. Familiarity with reliability engineering, observability platforms, and modern cloud infrastructure is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic initiatives and actionable plans. Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and resource planning is also important.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Execution: Define and drive the engineering strategy aligned with company goals. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software products on time and within budget. Promote best practices including DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and agile methodologies. Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks across programs.
- People Leadership & Coaching: Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams through targeted career development, coaching, and performance management. Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning. Set clear goals and provide regular feedback to support team growth.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the entire software delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support. Continuously optimize engineering processes, tools, and metrics to enhance team performance and product quality. Ensure operational readiness through incident response, monitoring, and service reliability practices.
- Collaboration & Communication: Partner with product, operations, and business stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and roadmaps. Effectively communicate technical vision and progress to executive leadership and non-technical teams. Represent engineering interests in strategic planning and budgeting discussions.
