Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer position located in Canada and Australia. The Software Engineer will focus on developing, maintaining, and optimizing software applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing back-end logic, writing and testing code, debugging software issues, and collaborating with team members to deploy user-friendly and efficient solutions. The engineer will also contribute to the enhancement of existing systems and strive for continuous operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
- Strong skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment and deliver project goals within deadlines.
- Experience with software development life cycles and familiarity with version control systems.
- Proficiency in debugging and problem-solving within complex software environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software engineering is an added advantage.
