Job Summary
The
Software Engineer IV, CRM Platform applies software engineering, systems integration, and platform engineering principles to the design, implementation, operation, and evolution of the organization’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Salesforce.
CRM Platform Engineers work closely with Sales, Service, Marketing, Product, Data, Integration, Security, Operations, and other IT teams to ensure the CRM platform is scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned to business strategy. This role emphasizes automation, quality, governance, and platform health, while enabling delivery teams to build and operate CRM solutions efficiently.
Skills And Background You’ll Need
Education
- B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering is required (preferably with MIS specialization).
- Preferred (not required): Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II.
- Preferred (not required): Salesforce Platform App Builder.
Experience
- 4+ years working in an Agile or DevOps environment
- 6+ years developing on a CRM platform
- 8+ years in a technical role such as Systems, Software, or CRM Engineering
- Deep expertise in CRM and Salesforce platform architecture. Experience building & operating Salesforce platform capabilities as a shared service. Experience developing and maintaining customizations, integrations, and automations.
- Proven experience ensuring data quality, security, compliance, and performance.
- Prior experience providing technical leadership, guidance, mentorship and technical enablement to delivery teams.
- Expert in either declarative or programmatic development and proficient in the other
- Ability to solve complex, cross-team problems that impact multiple systems
- Ability to influence platform direction and technical decisions
