Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Software Engineer Intern specializing in Golang. Based in Bengaluru, the role involves contributing to back-end development, designing and developing efficient software solutions, and implementing object-oriented programming principles. The intern will work alongside an experienced engineering team, collaborating on projects that drive VapusData’s platform development and contributing to scalable, high-performance applications.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts and principles
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development techniques
- Hands-on experience with Programming languages, particularly Golang
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- Familiarity with AI-powered systems is a plus
Nice to have
• Experience with Postgres, Redis.
• Knowledge of gRPC, REST.
• Any exposure to IaC tools or GitOps workflows.
• Basic understanding of security principles: least privilege, secret management.
