As a Software Developer Intern at Sparkly Codes, you will work closely with our development team to design, develop, test, and deploy modern web and mobile applications. You will gain hands-on experience with real-world client projects and SaaS products while learning industry best practices in software development, version control, database management, cloud deployment, and Agile methodologies. During the internship, you will contribute to developing scalable applications, fixing bugs, implementing new features, integrating third-party APIs, optimizing application performance, and participating in code reviews. You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and senior developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Requirements & Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Knowledge of React.js and modern frontend development practices
- Familiarity with Laravel or other PHP frameworks
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and API integration
- Knowledge of MySQL databases
- Basic understanding of Git and GitHub for version control
- Familiarity with responsive web design principles
- Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
- Understanding of asynchronous programming using Promises and Async/Await
- Experience with npm, Yarn, or similar package managers
- Basic understanding of authentication using JWT or OAuth
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand
- Knowledge of deployment platforms such as cPanel or VPS
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Basic knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia
- Familiarity with cloud services such as Firebase or Cloudflare is a plus
- Understanding of Docker and containerization is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
