About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and talented Software Engineer Intern specializing in AI/ML to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world, production-grade AI systems that directly impact critical business workflows. As an intern, you will be involved in building and refining AI-powered talent matching and ranking systems, semantic scoring models, and search intelligence components. You will collaborate closely with senior architects and engineers, gaining invaluable exposure to end-to-end development processes, from data pipelines and experimentation to deployment and live system integration.
This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn by doing, working on projects that are used by actual clients and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our product offerings. There is also potential for extension into freelance, contract, or full-time roles based on your performance and contributions during the internship period.
Qualifications
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in libraries such as scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, and similar tools.
- Some exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP), transformers, Large Language Models (LLMs), and frameworks like Hugging Face or LangChain is highly desirable.
- Experience in building, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models in a structured and systematic manner.
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git and familiarity with MLOps practices is a plus.
- Availability for a 3 to 6-month internship, either full-time or part-time, with a commitment to learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance machine learning models for talent matching, ranking, and semantic scoring to improve system accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to building robust data pipelines, conducting experiments, training models, and deploying solutions into production environments.
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured data sourced from CVs, job descriptions, and other inputs.
- Assist in experimenting with Large Language Model (LLM)-based components to enhance search and intelligence capabilities.
- Participate in designing and implementing end-to-end system architecture, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Document code, processes, and models to maintain clarity and facilitate future enhancements.
