About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team for a six-month internship.
You will work closely with our developers and product teams to build, improve, and deploy full-stack applications. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to production-facing products rather than isolated training assignments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across frontend and backend applications.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Design and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Work with databases, authentication systems, and third-party integrations.
- Identify and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and usability problems.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and product planning.
- Test applications and support their deployment to development and production environments.
- Collaborate with AI, product, design, and infrastructure teams.
Required Skills
- Understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Basic experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js.
- Familiarity with backend development using Node.js, Python, or a similar technology.
- Basic understanding of relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
- Ability to independently research, debug, and solve technical problems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience building personal, academic, freelance, or open-source projects.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, or similar databases.
- Experience with FastAPI, Express.js, Django, or similar backend frameworks.
- Basic understanding of Docker, Linux, cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with authentication, role-based access control, and application security.
- Experience deploying an application to a cloud or on-premise environment.
