Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineer in Test, based in Mohali district with the possibility of partial remote work. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing test plans for software quality assurance. The role also involves automating testing processes, debugging issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of reliable and high-performing software solutions. The Software Engineer in Test will contribute to code reviews, test strategies, and performance optimization efforts to maintain high standards of software quality.
Unlike traditional roles, you will not just write code/tests; you will leverage a suite of AI-native tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate the SDLC and build agentic development and testing workflows. You will be responsible for ensuring that our move toward rapid, AI-driven development does not compromise our "Gold Standard" for reliability.
Prompt Engineering for QA: Develop and share rules and custom system prompts to standardize test quality, ensuring AI-generated code follows team-specific design patterns.
Skills -
AI Development Tools : Expert proficiency in Cursor (Composer/Agent mode), Claude Code CLI, and GitHub Copilot Workspace.
