Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled SDET with strong programming and automation expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery across web and API layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API testing
- Write efficient, reusable, and scalable test scripts using Java and Selenium
- Perform API testing using tools like Rest Assured and Postman
- Validate backend data using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams in Agile environments
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and execution
- Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices where applicable
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution
- Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation integration
Required Skills (Mandatory)
- Strong proficiency in Java Programming
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation
- Experience in API Testing (Rest Assured / Postman)
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Expertise in Automation Framework Design (e.g., Hybrid, POM, Data-driven frameworks)
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL / PL-SQL for database validation
- Experience working in Agile environments with TDD practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with TestNG framework
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle
- Knowledge of JSON for API validation and data handling
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering and related field.
