Role Description The Software Engineer II role is a full-time hybrid position based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications and backend services that support premium digital experiences and AI-driven tools. Day-to-day work includes writing clean, maintainable code, implementing APIs and integrations, optimizing performance, and collaborating with designers, product teams, and other engineers to ship reliable features. The engineer will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical decisions, help improve development workflows, and ensure best practices in security, testing, and documentation. This role also involves troubleshooting production issues and iterating on deployed solutions based on user and client feedback.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar).
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating third-party services.
- Experience with modern web frameworks and tooling (e.g., Next.js, Node.js, or comparable stack) and familiarity with version control using Git.
- Ability to write clean, testable code and use unit/integration testing frameworks to ensure reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and interest in AI-driven products or automation is a plus.
