Position Summary
Individual will be an
entry-level .NET Developer who will join an Agile Scrum team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions in the financial services domain.
This role is ideal for a motivated early-career engineer who is eager to learn, collaborate, and grow within a fast-paced product development environment. The individual will work closely with experienced software engineers, architects, analysts, scrum masters, and product owners, gaining hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications using .NET technologies
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior team members
- Participating in Agile Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving defects identified during development or in production environments
- Develop and maintain back-office and server-side components using C# and MS SQL Server
- Create and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and product management
- Learn and apply secure coding practices and organizational development standards
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing within the team
Primary Technology Stack
- NET/.NET core, C#, Angular (basic understanding), cloud computing (Azure or equivalent – exposure preferred)
Secondary Technology Stack
C++ (academic or project-based experience is acceptable)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 0–2 years of professional experience or strong academic / internship / project experience in software development
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming concepts
- Basic understanding of software development best practices and coding standards
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to unit testing frameworks and debugging techniques
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly
- Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow as a software engineer
Nice To Have
- Experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and data protection concepts
- Internship or academic project experience in enterprise or web applications
