About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer II – Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS to build highly scalable, responsive, and performant web applications.
You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and AI teams to create intuitive user experiences while contributing to modern frontend architecture and engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Build reusable UI components and scalable frontend libraries.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, responsiveness, SEO, and scalability.
- Write clean, modular, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application performance.
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements to frameworks, tooling, and development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2–6 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- React.js
- Next.js
- TypeScript
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Tailwind CSS
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
- Familiarity with React Query, Next.js routing, or modern build tools like Vite.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and understanding API-driven application architecture.
- Strong knowledge of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GraphQL and modern API integration patterns.
- Understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) using Next.js.
- Experience with Storybook, component-driven development, or design systems.
- Familiarity with UI/UX tools such as Figma.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, or AWS.
- Exposure to AI-powered applications, LLM integrations, or modern web performance optimization is a plus.
