About Yolex Labs
We're building workforce intelligence infrastructure, AI-powered simulations and voice intelligence that reveal what people in an organization can actually do, not what their resumes claim. Think of it as the spec sheet companies never had for their own teams.
Headquartered in Singapore, with active expansion into the US, we're backed by a Singapore government grant and supported by advisors from Sarvam AI (one of India's leading AI labs) and Databricks. Our core team brings together engineers from ex-FAANG and Big 4 consulting backgrounds, distributed across the US, India, Singapore, and Norway.
Where we are right now
V1 is shipped. We're actively in sales cycles with multiple enterprise clients, and we're heads-down building V2 a more holistic product with deeper features and a broader scope. The person we hire will be building V2 with us from day one.
What you'll work on
You'll write production code from week one across our full stack:
● Backend in NestJS. APIs, services, and the orchestration layer behind our simulation infrastructure
● Frontend in React + Tailwind. The interfaces our customers actually use
● AI pipelines in F# our functional, type-safe approach to building reliable ML and agent workflows
● AI systems work RAG, agent orchestration, and model integrations that power our simulations and voice intelligence
You won't be siloed. You'll touch product, infra, and AI work in the same week, and own features end-to-end with mentorship from senior engineers.
Who we're looking for
● A recent graduate or early-career engineer with a real foundation in software fundamentals data structures, system design basics, and the ability to read code as fluently as you write it
● Hands-on experience (projects, internships, or coursework) with at least one of: Node.js/TypeScript, React, or any functional/typed language (F#, OCaml, Haskell, Scala, or even strict TypeScript counts)
● Genuine curiosity about AI systems you don't need to have shipped LLM apps, but you should be the kind of person who plays with them on weekends
● Strong written communication, since we're remote-first and async-heavy
● Comfort with ambiguity you'll get problems, not specs
● Bonus: entrepreneurial mindset and curiosity about the business side of building a startup
We'll train you heavily on the rest, including F# if you haven't used it. Stack proficiency matters less than how quickly you absorb new things.
What you should know going in
On hours: Our team spans the US, India, Singapore, and Norway, which means our overlap window for meetings is roughly 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST. You'll need to be reliably available during this window. Outside of that, hours are flexible, work when you do your best work. Occasionally, client demos can happen at off-hours depending on the customer's time zone, so some flexibility there too.
On intensity: This is a high-ownership environment. We're a small team building something ambitious, which means the pace is fast and the work doesn't fit neatly into office hours. If you're optimizing for predictability and a strict 9-to-6, we're probably not the right fit. If you're optimizing for the steepest learning curve of your career, the kind of role where you'll ship things real users depend on, see how a company actually gets built, and walk away with skills you can't easily get elsewhere this early, this is the right fit.
