About the Role
USDC is looking for a Software Engineer to join our technology talent network and support software development initiatives for our clients.
In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable software applications. You will work with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, solve technical problems, and translate business needs into high-quality software solutions.
Depending on the client assignment, you may work across backend development, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, application development, integrations, and modern software engineering practices.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications.
* Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-documented code.
* Develop and integrate APIs and backend services.
* Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
* Debug applications and resolve technical issues.
* Participate in code reviews and collaborative development.
* Develop and maintain automated tests.
* Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
* Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions.
* Use Git and modern software development workflows.
* Participate in CI/CD, deployment, and release processes.
* Document technical implementations and solutions.
* Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, clients, and other stakeholders.
* Learn and apply new technologies based on project and client requirements.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go, or similar.
* Experience developing software applications and/or backend services.
* Understanding of REST APIs, databases, and server-side development.
* Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
* Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
* Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
* Experience with microservices or distributed systems.
* Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
* Experience working with AI-enabled development tools or applications is a plus.

Compensation
₹12,00,000 – ₹18,00,000 per annum
Compensation will be based on experience, technical skills, qualifications, and the requirements of the client assignment.
Work Arrangement
Full-time | Remote | Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
