Job Title: Software Engineer (C# .NET & SQL)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with a strong foundation in the Microsoft technology stack (C# .NET, SQL Server) to join our organization. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications and backend services.
The ideal candidate is not just a coder but a problem solver who understands data flow. Experience in integrating with ERP systems (specifically SAP) to extract and migrate data is a significant plus. If you are passionate about building robust solutions and willing to travel for onsite client engagements, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for web-based applications using ASP.NET (Core/MVC) and C#.
- Backend Services: Create and consume Web APIs (RESTful/SOAP) and Windows Services to support complex business logic.
- Database Management: Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and complex queries in SQL Server.
- Data Integration (ETL):
- Develop solutions to read/extract data from external systems (e.g., SAP, ERPs).
- Process and push data into target databases or third-party applications securely and efficiently.
- System Maintenance: Monitor and debug production issues, ensuring system performance and stability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B. Tech/ B. E./ MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science or IT.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Primary Tech Stack:
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.
- Strong command over SQL Server/ Oracle (writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and performance tuning).
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Preferred Skills (Big Plus)
- SAP Integration: Hands-on experience connecting to SAP systems (using RFCs, BAPIs, IDOCs, or SAP .NET Connector) to fetch or sync data.
- Experience with ETL tools or writing custom scripts to move data between heterogeneous systems.
- Knowledge of ORM tools like Entity Framework or Dapper.
