Job Title: Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer – Cluster Development (MOBIS Project)
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 3-8 Years
Role Overview:
We are looking for skilled engineers to work on Cluster Features Development and Software Stabilization for automotive embedded systems. The role involves development, debugging, validation, and continuous improvement of cluster software aligned with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance cluster (instrument cluster) software features
- Perform software stabilization by fixing field issues, audit findings, and QA defects
- Work on GUI & application development using modern frameworks
- Analyze and resolve issues with root cause analysis and countermeasures
- Participate in code reviews and quality improvements
- Update and maintain project artifacts in tools like JIRA / Confluence
- Prepare and maintain SRS, SADS, and SUDS documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and validation
- Follow Agile/Scrum practices and provide regular status updates (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and MTCI processes
- Support continuous integration and version control activities
Required Skills:
- Strong programming skills in C++
- Experience with Qt / QML
- Hands-on experience in Linux & QNX environments
- Good understanding of embedded systems and automotive domain
- Experience with tools:
- JIRA / Confluence / Bitbucket
- Enterprise Architect
- Yocto Build System
- CANoe (preferred)
- Knowledge of software debugging and performance optimization
- Familiarity with Git version control
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in instrument cluster or HMI development
- Understanding of AUTOSAR (basic knowledge is a plus)
- Exposure to static code analysis tools (e.g., Polyspace, Coverity, Parasoft)
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
