Role: Full‑Stack Developer – Credly
Location: Bangalore
Description:
Credly are growing platforms with increasing customer demand and evolving product priorities. We’re seeking a Full‑Stack Developer to build and operate end‑to‑end features across our web applications—delivering excellent user experiences while ensuring backend services, APIs, and data layers are performant, reliable, and scalable. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver customer-facing value quickly and safely, and you’ll help raise engineering standards through mentorship and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack features across front-end applications and supporting services/APIs.
- Architect and develop scalable UI solutions using React.js and modern front-end patterns; create reusable components and libraries.
- Integrate RESTful services and third-party APIs (e.g., authentication, LMS) and optimize end-to-end performance.
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, estimate work, and deliver features on schedule.
- Ensure quality and operational readiness by meeting usability, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Mentor and guide engineers on technical best practices and maintainable, scalable design.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong full-stack delivery ownership.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, React.js, Redux, Node.js , plus solid HTML/CSS fundamentals.
- Experience with modular, maintainable, scalable architectures and performance optimization .
- Hands-on experience integrating RESTful services and modern JavaScript design patterns; familiarity with micro frontends .
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch .
Nice to Have
- Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) .
- Experience with Ruby on Rails .
